Planetary Gigs Society

Making Connections through Music with the Intention of Creating Peace

Planetary Gigs Society is a nonprofit charitable organization with the mission of Making Connections through Music with the Intention of Creating Peace.  The Society will provide resources and information about the power of music and organizations that are promoting music and musicians.  The Society also sponsors a podcast called Planetary Gig Talk - Tales of Music and Magic.

Privacy Policy.  

This Privacy Policy sets out the Society’s policies regarding treatment of information that may be considered to be private and demonstrates our commitment to your data privacy.  

When using the website, you are not required to provide us with any personal information and we do not monitor or collect any personally identifiable information from you on your use of the website. We will collect information that you provide to us, and providing such information constitutes your affirmative consent for us the use such information.  We may collect your contact information if you provide it to use for the email signature generator, but we will not maintain such information, except for name and email address so that we may send you information about the Society and information about music and music organizations. We may track the number of users who visit areas of the website for internal use such as improving accessibility to website facilities. We may also record the location of your computer on the Internet for systems administration and troubleshooting purposes and for reporting aggregate information.  

Use Of Personal Information.  We use certain personal information provided to us in order to:

  1. meet our mission to communicate information,

  2. provide notice of important events, activities, and information resources.

If you donate to the Society, we do not maintain any credit card, paypal, or other information from you, but we will use your contract information, name and email, in order to provide a receipt.

User of this website may “opt-out” of having their information used for such purposes by notifying Society.  Otherwise, Society may use such information for its nonprofit and charitable purposes, but confirms that it does not sell, lease, or provide to any person or organization personal information, except as disclosed, with permission, or upon legal requirements.
